Account Executive

The Account Executive manages a portfolio of clients, and the day-to-day strategic and logistical relationship between the client and the agency. The person in this role is responsible for working collaboratively with all agency departments to ensure smooth execution of agency services on behalf of the client to foster relationship and business growth for both parties.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with clients to ensure smooth process and procedure between client and agency, ensuring positive results
- Proactively, consistently communicating with internal team — Account Management, and overall agency team members — regarding current project status, especially for higher-level initiatives
- Proactively monitor overall client health and status, and bring to light any avenues for client growth and/or out-of-scope project opportunities, when necessary/appropriate
- Work closely with Creative, Traffic, and Media team leads to ensure client goals and timelines are met effectively and fairly
- Support with billing process and client budgets ensuring accurate and fair management of funds
- Support creative team in selling in campaign assets and ensure all deliverables align with the brief and strategic business expectations
- Help guide and provide strategic input on advertising and marketing campaign efforts and plans, guiding clients and internal teams
- Understand and monitor client business and related industries to maintain knowledge of competitive landscape
- Quickly and effectively resolve issues, or bring them to Leadership’s attention for further support or resolution
Qualifications & Attributes
- Degree in Advertising, Communications, or Marketing preferred
- 3-4 years strong advertising or marketing industry experience — Account Management experience preferred
- Experience managing multiple clients at one time effectively and efficiently
- Experience driving traditional and digital advertising, branding, positioning, brand strategy, and misc. marketing efforts
- Understanding of media landscape, and overall media process including reporting
- Strong digital marketing knowledge
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong presentation and speaking skills
- Proactive and demonstrate the ability to think several steps ahead to guide clients and internal teams alike
- Self-motivated and highly organized
- Ability to react professionally and maturely under pressure and in challenging situations
- Experience managing junior team members
- Solid understanding of typical agency operations, process and business
- Positive attitude, fun, and driven
