Account Management & Strategy Intern

Push is looking for candidates for the Account Management & Strategy intern position. Internships do not need to be used for college credit, but can be if desired. Previous agency/marketing internship experience preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Working closely with Account Coordinators, Account Executives and Account Supervisors to assist in day-to-day tasks of the department
  • Proofreading, working with AP style
  • Preparing agendas and status reports for client meetings
  • Attending internal and client-facing meetings
  • Assisting in processing work orders from clients back to the creative team
  • Working with members of the Account Management department to reach team goals
  • Filing completed projects, approved estimates and final invoices
  • Conducting Internet research for clients related to advertising, media and public relations
  • Brainstorming, idea generation and additional market research
  • Using Pages, Keynote and Numbers to create agendas, reports, research documents, etc.
  • Learn the operations of the office, assist in department management
Skills
  • General understanding of the advertising industry, including basic industry terms, trends and tactics
  • Self-motivated with an ambition to learn the business of advertising and how it relates to the goals of Push clients
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills, analytical thinking, personal organization and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to problem solve and to act and react in a professional manner while under pressure
