Media Planning Intern
Push is looking for candidates for the Media Planning intern position. Internships do not need to be used for college credit but can be if desired. Previous agency/marketing internship experience preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Working closely with Media Planners & Buyers to assist in day-to-day tasks of the department
- Attending internal and client-facing meetings
- Assisting in maintaining all media files, including but not limited to media kits, tearsheets, specs, media plans, etc.
- Assisting in processing client estimates and vendor insertion orders in project management system, etc.
- Working with members of the Media department to reach team goals
- Conducting research for related to client audience, competitors, and advertising tactics
- Brainstorming, idea generation and additional market research
- Using Google Sheets, Keynote, Pages, and Numbers to media plans, proposals, and reports
Skills
- General understanding of the advertising industry, including basic industry terms, trends, and tactics
- Self-motivated with an ambition to learn the business of advertising, specifically paid media, and how it relates to the goals of Push clients
- Strong verbal, written and presentation skills, analytical thinking, personal organization, and interpersonal skills
- The ability to problem solve and to act and react in a professional manner while under pressure
