Social Media Manager

The Social Media Manager requires a social media-forward, customer service-focused mindset and the ability to think creatively, be a self-starter, multitask and prioritize work.

Working in collaboration with the Account Service team to understand the client’s business, goals and audiences, as well as with the Creative team to develop content aligned with social media best practices and client reporting, this position is responsible for the day-to-day execution of clients’ social media activities.

The Manager is expected to act as the go-to person for all things related to clients’ social media activities, leading status calls, providing project updates and keeping the account team and clients aware of the latest trends on social media as it related to their business and opportunities in the space.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of social media calendars, ensuring clients’ content strategies are aligned with overall brand strategy.
  • Daily management of community relationships, engaging with fans across all platforms and addressing customer service outreach.
  • Manage the monthly reporting and analyzing the performance of social media content and campaigns.
  • Ability to understand social listening tools and quickly pivot a strategy based on current trending topics.
  • Stay up-to-date on current and upcoming trends and innovations in the social media landscape and communicate these to management for implementation into strategy.

Skills

  • Solid understanding of social media marketing, with deep understanding of the various social media channels.
  • Proven examples of leveraging social media to drive business impact.
  • Strong understanding of social media reporting and analytics, leveraging different tools like SocialBakers, Google Analytics and others.
