Epoch Residential is a development, construction and management company specializing in luxury multifamily apartment communities. Push was tasked with naming and creatively branding their newest properties to give them a distinct sense of place that would resonate with potential residents.


By tapping into the interests and desires of residents and drawing inspiration from each property’s location and natural surroundings, we crafted three distinct identities designed to stand out in the marketplace and translated those looks into a full suite of branded elements.

A name that hits the right notes.

With the apartment home’s location just outside of Nashville in Franklin, Tennessee, we looked to the area’s strong musical ties for inspiration. Mandolin, the stringed instrument often used in bluegrass and folk music native to the region, evokes a sense of heritage and sophistication.

Music meets nature.

Music wasn’t the only influence for the brand identity. With the natural beauty of Tennessee surrounding the property, we combined an abstracted version of the mandolin’s sound hole with the area’s towering deciduous trees to create the logomark.

Capturing life in full bloom.

For these properties designed for active adults 55+ in Kissimmee, Florida, this name needed to capture the spirit of life found there. Inspired by residents’ blossoming next chapters and the property’s gracious hospitality, we combined the words “caloroso,” meaning warm in Italian,“Cali,” a Greek name meaning beautiful, and “rosa,” which means rose or flower, to create the name Calirosa.

Designed to flourish.

The logomark took shape as a distinct geometric icon that is both a sun and a flower, symbolizing the possibilities in bloom and sunny days ahead for residents of Calirosa. The flexible, versatile icon is striking on its own and can be used as part of a pattern.

Illustrating happily ever active.

The suite of brand elements work together to paint a picture of life at Calirosa—active, restorative and full of natural beauty. Illustrations take their inspiration from the mosaic mark while the brand colors are inspired by the relaxing yet invigorating environment. The voice paints a picture of the Calirosa experience and uses words related to flowers and nature to further bring to life the brand identity.

For this property in Kissimmee, Florida, designed for singles and families looking to live where everything is within reach, we were influenced by the possibility that awaits at the dawn of a new day. Sonceto, inspired by the Macedonian word for sun, conjures up picture-perfect days and resort-level luxury.

The logomark takes inspiration from the wetlands of Kissimmee and clear Florida skies to communicate that this is where you can soak up the sun—and so much more.

Designing an elevated digital presence.

For each property, we developed new sleek and engaging websites with valuable integrations built in, including customer relationship management tools. The sites include a user-friendly page builder and content management system, allowing the client to update and edit content as needed, while a refined contact form submission process helps to streamline customer inquires and generate more qualified leads.
